We shout about Wellbeing every month but during November we wanted to shout louder and make it accessible to all. Each Wednesday we are offering a free event for you to join; as an introduction to The Haven, to help you start your wellbeing journey or just to get you back on track.
We think it’s essential that people get together to talk. It’s something so many people struggle to do, even in an age where we all have phones yet feel more disconnected than ever. So often when we talk about our problem, it enables us to understand that we’re not the only ones experiencing anxiety, fear, sadness and depression, bought on by our current issue. Also that it’s something others have experienced too.
With this in mind, we thought we’d make November our Wellbeing month and get people together to improve their wellbeing – Wellbeing is defined as the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy, and I think we could all do with a little more of that, don’t you?
Katie will be holding a free monthly group that meets on the 1st Wednesday of the Month. There will be a daytime and evening gathering. Both sessions will initially last for 1hr. This group is open to everyone. We will chat, laugh, listen and share if you want to, over a cuppa and a piece of cake. This will be a safe space for people to connect and talk about their wellbeing and how they’d like to improve it. Join us monthly or just when you need some time out in a safe space to rest and recuperate.

Join Katie for a Free Relaxation and Breathing class during The Haven’s Wellbeing Month. This class will be an introduction to guided relaxation and breathing to reduce stress and anxiety.
Join Allison for a Free Introduction to Pilates class. This class will introduce you to the principles of Pilates and the benefits for your body and mind. This class is ideal for people who have never tried Pilates before.
